Itinerary:
October 1: Our first day of this tour begins with check-in at our hotel and a welcome dinner at a Disney restaurant. Feel free to spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool and checking out the Disneyland hotel! We recommend arriving a day early to account for flight delays and jet lag!
October 2: We will spend the day at Hong Kong Disneyland, including a 4+ hour VIP tour. These tours are smaller than in the U.S. so we will split into two groups of up to 6 people.
October 3: Another magical day at Hong Kong Disneyland
October 4: Say goodbye to our hotel in Hong Kong. We will take a 4 hour mid morning flight from HKG to Tokyo. After checking into our park hotel, we have admission tickets to Tokyo Disneyland in order to enjoy dinner and fireworks.
October 5: Spend a whole day at DisneySea one of the most unique Disney parks!
October 6: Spend the day at Tokyo Disneyland, which might be our favorite castle park in the world. Enjoy a farewell dinner in the park.
October 7: Check out of hotel. Our tour ends today but some of us may spend some more time in Tokyo.
About our tour leaders:
Ashley is one of our co-founders here at Wild Air Travel. She has been to over 100 countries and to every Disney park except for Shanghai Disney.
Sam from Almost Free Traveling is an expert at using your points and miles on Disney experiences. She just visited her first park abroad, Disneyland Paris.
Both are pretty big Disney fans and are excited to experience these two parks with you! Let us plan all of the details so you can just show up and have a blast. While we will do a fair number of things as a group, such as a couple of dinners and a VIP tour, there will be opportunities to split up if you are more of a ride person or want to skip fireworks. This tour is completely customizable for you and your interests! We anticipate occasionally splitting up into smaller groups based on preferences. We know some of us (Ashley) like to skip a lot of shows in favor of rides, while others of us (Sam) love the shows. We know we all love the Disney snacks, and there will be plenty of time for those.
Need to know:
This tour has a minimum of 4 guests and a max of 10. We anticipate booking Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel or Tokyo Disneyland hotel. Both resorts are not currently taking hotel bookings this far in advance. These parks are less visited than the U.S. parks so we do not anticipate not getting our first park hotel choices. We recommend flying in a day or two early to check out the city of Hong Kong and staying a day or two after the tour to check out some of Tokyo. We also recommend landing a day early to adjust to the time difference. Japan has loosened Covid restrictions. Hong Kong currently still has testing and a 3 day semi quarantine but we anticipate by October that this won’t be a thing. It is likely you will need to be vaccinated in order to easily enter both countries.
